1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or requesting services from Cancún Medical Response S.A. de C.V. ("CMR"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Description of Services
CMR provides certified pre-hospital emergency medical services in accordance with NOM-034-SSA3-2013, including:
- Emergency and non-emergency ground ambulance transport
- Air ambulance transport (domestic and international)
- Inter-hospital patient transfers
- Medical escort on commercial and private flights
- Events medical coverage
- Home medical care
3. Medical Disclaimer
CMR provides pre-hospital emergency care and transport services. We are not a hospital or medical clinic. Our services are performed by certified paramedics and emergency medical technicians in accordance with applicable Mexican law. The information on this website does not constitute medical advice. In case of a life-threatening emergency, always call the appropriate emergency number.
CMR is not responsible for clinical decisions made by receiving hospitals or treating physicians after patient handoff.
4. Service Availability
CMR operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Response times depend on geographic location, traffic conditions, and availability of units at the time of the call. CMR does not guarantee specific response times.
5. Fees and Payment
- Service fees are determined based on the type, distance, and complexity of the service provided.
- A quote may be requested in advance for non-emergency scheduled transfers.
- Emergency services are provided first; payment arrangements are made afterward.
- CMR accepts credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and cash (Mexican Pesos and US Dollars).
- CMR works with major travel insurance policies. The patient is responsible for any amounts not covered by their insurer.
6. Invoicing (Facturación)
Invoices must be requested in the same calendar month as the service was rendered. Requests made in subsequent months cannot be processed. To request an invoice, send the required fiscal data to: facturacion@cancunmedicalresponse.com
7. Insurance Coordination
CMR will make reasonable efforts to coordinate with the patient's travel or health insurance provider. However, CMR does not guarantee coverage or reimbursement by any insurer. Patients should verify their coverage before or immediately after the service.
8. Patient Responsibilities
Patients or their representatives are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete medical information
- Presenting official identification, insurance policy, and payment method
- Authorizing the service for minors or incapacitated persons
- Complying with the instructions of CMR medical personnel
9. Limitation of Liability
CMR's liability is limited to the direct damages resulting from a proven breach of its service obligations. CMR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: delays caused by force majeure, traffic, weather conditions, or factors beyond CMR's control.
CMR's maximum liability for any single incident shall not exceed the amount paid by the patient for the service in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States and the State of Quintana Roo. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts of Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
11. Modifications
CMR reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
